Born in 1966, Jovanotti began his journey at the end of the 1980s as one of the first hip hop DJs and MCs in Italy, blending the urban pulse of Run DMC, Public Enemy, and Beastie Boys with the warmth and rhythm of Mediterranean life.
Over the decades, his sound has evolved through funk, rap, world music, and song writing, shaping a language that is at once deeply Italian and globally resonant. His lyrics, often infused with poetry, joy, and social consciousness, have inspired generations with messages of love, peace, ecology, and freedom.

In 2019, he launched the Jova Beach Party, an unprecedented project that turned Italy’s beaches into open-air temples of music, community, and celebration. Across its two editions (2019 and 2022), the Jova Beach Party drew over one million attendees, featuring three stagesdozens of international guestsfood villages, and a festival atmosphere that ran from afternoon to late night. It was a traveling utopia of sound and inclusion, where music met nature and collective joy became the ultimate language.
