He has been awarded Musician of the Year by the Association of Jazz and Modern Musicians of Catalonia not once, but four times; he has received the 2019 City of Barcelona Award for “No hay dos sin tres” (with his project with Flamenco guitarist Juan Gómez “Chicuelo”, the Premi Alicia for Best Discographic Production for his most recent album Talismán, and has been summoned by an endless list of artists of the first order to make recordings and concerts all over the world.
